Student financial services deadlines

The priority deadline for application is March 1 each year. We continue to process application after this deadline, but several types of aid funds are depleted due to limited funding. Award notices will be available online early April.

PLUS information

June 1 will be the first date you may submit a PLUS application for the upcoming award year. Please select the current Award Year.

Constitution Day

Constitution Day is celebrated commemorating the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution. For more information about this celebration, visit www.constitutionday.com.

Pell Grant lifetime eligibility

The maximum number of equivalent full-time semesters a student is eligible to receive a Pell Grant is 12 semesters. 600% Pell Grant Lifetime Eligibility. Note: The Pell LEU cannot be appealed. You can log onto the National Student Loan Data System using your Federal Student Aid PIN and view your Lifetime Eligibility Used (LEU). The LEU can be found on the Financial Aid Review page.

Verification

Verification is a process to confirm the information you provided on the FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid. We are no longer allowed to accept a signed copy of a 1040 tax return form to complete the verification process. To document your tax return, you may: 1) use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to transfer current year tax data to your FAFSA; or 2) request an IRS tax transcript at www.irs.gov; or 3) you may call the IRS at 1-800-908-9946 to request a tax transcript.

Accept/decline financial aid award offers

Financial aid awards must be accepted or declined through Workday. If you are accepting a loan award, additional requirements must be met.
